Hello, I’m Amanda
I’m Amanda Hershberg, a mom of two, founder of Full Nest Wellness, a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a University of Virginia–trained CDC Diabetes Prevention Program Lifestyle Coach. I know firsthand how hard it can be to balance wellness with the chaos of motherhood, and I created Full Nest Wellness because moms are often underserved—and that’s something I’m working to change.
I work with women who’ve experienced gestational diabetes and moms at risk for Type 2 diabetes. No matter your background, culture, or circumstance, we’re all moms who want the best for ourselves and our families. My programs are designed to help you prioritize your health, feel energized, and create habits that support a lifetime of wellness—for you and the generations who look up to you.
My approach is simple: build routines that nourish rather than restrict, focus on whole foods and consistent movement, and develop habits that last. Prevention isn’t about fear or perfection—it’s about confidence, freedom, and feeling in control of your health.
With over 20 years in wellness and 40+ certifications in health, nutrition, and behavior change, I combine clinical insight with practical guidance. Through my UVA training, I deliver the CDC Diabetes Prevention Program, an evidence-based program proven to reduce the risk of Type 2 diabetes by 58% or more. And my programs—Postpartum Power and Flourish Well—are the first in Virginia designed specifically for moms, built to fit the rhythm of real life.
At Full Nest Wellness, I also offer private and small-group movement experiences through my sister company, MOVE Like A Mother. From Pilates and yoga to strength training and core/pelvic floor restoration, these sessions meet you where you are—whether you’re recovering from birth, rebuilding after gestational diabetes, or just trying to feel stronger and more energized.
Because this isn’t about getting “back” to something. It’s about moving forward—feeling connected, capable, and empowered in your next chapter. And as you strengthen your health, you’re also building generational wellness for your family.
Let’s do this together. Let’s flourish.
