Hello.
I’m Amanda Hershberg—founder of Full Nest Wellness, twin mom, lifelong mover, and someone who believes postpartum care should be as intentional and supported as pregnancy.
After having twins, I found myself strong in some ways and completely unsteady in others. Pilates became my starting point—it helped me reconnect with my breath, rebuild my core, and feel grounded in a body that suddenly felt unfamiliar. That gentle reintroduction to movement gave me the confidence to return to strength training and explore what it really meant to restore, not just recover.
That journey shaped everything I teach. Movement can be powerful and kind at the same time. It can build strength while honoring softness. Most importantly, it can offer women a way back to themselves—especially in the seasons when so much has changed.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the wellness space and hold more than 40 certifications in fitness and nutrition. I’m a certified Pilates and yoga instructor, a strength coach, and a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach. I completed my training through the University of Virginia to deliver the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Program and have spent years collaborating with pelvic floor physical therapists to create movement experiences that are both science-informed and deeply human.
That background led me to create T2Free: Postpartum Power—a unique coaching program for women who’ve had gestational diabetes and want to prevent type 2. Many don’t realize that having gestational diabetes increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 7 to 10 times. But research shows that programs like mine can reduce that risk by 58% or more. I’m proud that T2Free is the first CDC-recognized Diabetes Prevention Program in the state designed specifically for moms. It's accessible, realistic, and built to fit into the rhythm of postpartum life.
At Full Nest Wellness, I offer private and small-group movement experiences that include Pilates, yoga, strength training, and core and pelvic floor restoration. Whether you’re recovering from birth, rebuilding after gestational diabetes, or simply trying to feel stronger in your body, you’ll find evidence-based care, thoughtful guidance, and a supportive space that meets you where you are.
Because this isn’t just about getting “back.” It’s about moving forward—feeling connected, capable, and empowered in your next chapter.
